This Week at SURFCiTY
This week we welcome Pastor Richard back from his holiday in Ireland where his family resides and he originally came from. In this morning’s staff meeting he was glad to be home, but sad to leave the Emerald Isle once more.
The High School Ministry: Epic takes two weeks off during the Queensland High School holiday break this week and The Young Adults: The Edge are back from a powerful weekend with Pastor Matt Hines from Paradise Community Church for their Camp on the Sunshine Coast at the Alexandria Headlands on the Sunshine Coast.
Connect groups are happening in homes and coffee shops across the city this week, they are where our church gets together in small groups and prays together, gets into the word, fellowships and do life together. Also this week:
- Music Team practice is back on this Wednesday night at 6:45pm
- Wednesday night: Worship and Soak night from 7:30pm in the Small Auditorium
- Thursday night courses are on a break over the school holidays. The lifekeys courses are back on a Thursday night in two weeks and the College courses are moving to Monday nights.
- Friday night: Epic is on holidays and The Edge is on from 7:30pm
- Sunday: an action packed day in the house of God with Pastor Richard preaching in the morning, Ps Kent at the 6pm service and the amazingly skilled SURFCiTY Worship Team leading worship at both services.
