FACT: IN AUSTRALIA THERE ARE OVER 100,000 HOMELESS PEOPLE. 57,000 OF THESE PEOPLE ARE UNDER THE AGE OF 37. TRANSFORMATION MINISTRIES IS FOCUSED ON GIVING THESE PEOPLE A HAND UP! NOT JUST A HAND OUT.
Since 1999 Transformation Ministries (ORIGINALLY REGISTERED AND OPERATED AS GOLD COAST COMMUNITY SUPPORT) has evolved into an effective and successful Rehabilitation Program that targets specific individual needs by introducing group sessions and practical teaching on issues such as; conflict resolution, communication skills, identity & self worth, life skills, literature & numeracy, work place ethics, discipline and boundary setting.
We developed effective individual counselling techniques and recovery programs that assist sufferers of drug and alcohol addiction, grief, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, divorce and abuse.
Our work also liaises with other organizations such as Mirikai Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Centre, Gold Coast Drug Council, Fairhaven, Lifeline, YHES House & Reconnect, as well as conduct regular surveys, in order to best understand the needs of our target group.
