INFO AND TRAINING NIGHT RECAP

We had a great night! After a history of our relationship with the church in India was by Ps Richard, the fun began. We practiced using the puppets to share the Gospel which is harder than you might think. We finished up by practicing some quick skits that are a very effective form of ministry in our village night rallies

Tuesday the 27th of October at 7pm will be the first of our training nights. If you plan to come on the trip, these nights are vital. We will be holding the meeting in the College lecture room.

IT HAS BEGUN – 2010 TRIP INFO NIGHT

Monday the 21st of September was our official first meeting for the India Missions Trip for August 2010. Ps Richard was excited to see over 35 people in attendance. The night began as we took down some contact/travel/medical details from everyone. Then we showed people some photos of our previous trip. We looked at maps that showed the location of Madurai, the major city we will be based from. Alot of time was spent going through the typical daily schedule we will live by in India. There was also a brief lesson in Tamil(the local dialect) which included a performance of a song(God is so good) in Tamil.

The missions team is excited about the 2010 trip! Its not too late to register your interest.
